Walnut Street Theatre continues its season with an all-new production of the musical Elf. Based on the Hollywood hit, and directed and choreographed by Marc Robin, the production began previews on Nov. 5 and runs through Jan. 5 on the WST Mainstage.

The show is t"he charming tale of Buddy, a young orphan who mistakenly crawls into Santa's bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole. Buddy is raised unaware that he is actually a human, until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa's permission, he embarks on a journey to New York City with dreams to find his birth father and discover his true identity. What's an adopted elf to do when he realizes his father is on Santa's 'naughty' list and his half-brother doesn't believe that there is a Santa Claus? It's up to Buddy to save Christmas!"

Christopher Sutton stars as Buddy the Elf. He is joined by Bill Van Horn as Santa Claus, Kate Fahrner as Jovie, Kristine Fraelich as Emily, Cary Michele Miller as Deb, Charles Pistone as Walter Hobbs, Paul L. Nolan as Mr. Greenway and Fran Prisco as Macy’s Manager.

The ensemble includes Joey Abramowicz, Maggie Anderson, Sonny Leo, Ben Michael, Ellie Mooney, Rommel Pierre O’Choa, Peyton Royal, Megan Schmidt, Michael Warrell, Sara Brophy, Samantha Brown and Janet Rowley.
