The cast of Old Jews Telling Jokes, which is co-created by Peter Gethers and Daniel Okrent and will begin previews May 1 prior to an official opening May 20 at Off-Broadway's Westside Theatre, greeted the press with an April 17 photo op at Ben's Deli.

The production, according to press notes, "showcases five actors in a revue that pays tribute to and reinvents classic jokes of the past and present. Think you’ve heard them all before? Not this way. The show also features comic songs -- brand new and satisfyingly old – as well as tributes to some of the giants of the comedy world and to the brilliant raconteurs from OldJewsTellingJokes.com, the website that inspired the show."
The creative team also includes set and video designer David Gallo, lighting designer Jeff Croiter, costume designer Alejo Vietti and sound designer Richard Fitzgerald/Sound Associates.
Set in the magical world of La Belle Epoque Paris, where fashion, glamour, and passion prevail, Lerner and Loewe's celebrated musical is a romantic comedy about one young woman's journey to find her true self... and her true love.
