PHOTO CALL: The Normal Heart with Mantello, Close and More

Tony Award-winning director Joe Mantello took on the central role of Ned Weeks in the one night only performance of Larry Kramer's The Normal Heart. The performance was produced by Daryl Roth and benefited both The Actors Fund and Friends in Deed.

In addition to Mantello, the cast also included Victor Garber, Jason Butler Harner, John Benjamin Hickey, Jack McBrayer, Michael Stuhlbarg, Patrick Wilson and Tony winner Glenn Close in the role of Dr. Emma Brookner.

Joel Grey takes a turn as director of the piece after having starred in the original production of The Normal Heart at The Public Theater, in which he played Ned Weeks.
