Ever wonder about the daily routine of a Broadway actor? How about the routine on one of those grueling two-performance days? In this latest installment, Dominic Nolfi of Jersey Boys offers Playbill.com readers an exclusive look at his work day.
Armed with a digital camera, original cast member Nolfi offers a look at an average two-performance day portraying Tommy DeVito. He snapped everything from morning routine to pre-performance rituals to between-show activities to the final curtain call.
San Francisco native Nolfi has been with the Tony-winning musical since its pre-Broadway run at La Jolla Playhouse. Other theatrical credits include Danny in the European tour of Grease, William Hogarth in The Art of Success, Cousin Kevin in The Who's Tommy and Tim in SuBurbia. He may been seen in the film version of Zombie Prom.
Jersey Boys plays Broadway's August Wilson Theatre. The show features music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe and a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice.
