Diana Huey is currently starring as Kim in the Flat Rock Playhouse's production of the international hit musical Miss Saigon. She documented the experience and shares these pics from rehearsal, backstage and free time in and around the scenic North Carolina venue.
Directed by Vincent Marini, the cast features Eddie Egan as Chris, Diana Huey as Kim, Mel Maghuyop as The Engineer, Erin Mosher as Ellen, John Ashley Brown as John, Austin Ku as Thuy and Jamila Sabares-Klemm as Gigi.
Based on Puccini’s Madame Butterfly,Claude-Michel Schonberg and Alain Boublil's musical, according to press notes, "follows the tale of an American soldier and a Vietnamese girl who fall in love, only to be separated during the fall of Saigon in the Vietnamese War." Songs include “I Still Believe,” “Why God Why?” and “The American Dream."
