Drama Desk nominee Rufus Bonds Jr. (Parade) is spending his summer across the pond, where he stars in Porgy and Bess at London's Open Air Theatre in Regent's Park. He takes Playbill behind the scenes at the scenic outdoor venue.
The show stars Bonds and Nicola Hughes in the title roles. They are joined by Jade Ewen (former member of pop group Sugababes, and who previously represented the U.K. in the 2009 Eurovision Song Congtest) as Clara, Cedric Neal as Sportin’ Life, Golda Rosheuvel, Phillip Boykin as Crown as Serena and Leon Lopez as Jake.
