Playwright Edward Albee's unique tale of love The Goat or Who is Sylvia? captured this year's Tony Award for Best Play. The play opened at Broadway's Golden Theatre, March 10, with original cast members Mercedes Ruehl and Bill Pullman. Sally Field and Bill Irwin later stepped in, running to its close Dec. 15. Albee has said he wanted audiences to be changed after a playgoing experience, and the provocative new work had audiences debating.
Featuring the Broadway classics “To Life (L’Chaim!),” “If I Were A Rich Man,” “Sunrise Sunset,” “Matchmaker, Matchmaker,” and “Tradition,” Fiddler on the Roof will introduce a new generation to this uplifting celebration that raises its cup to joy! To love! To life!
