Peter Camp: "Nobody Needs to Know" from The Last Five Years. The music and lyrics are heartbreaking on their own, but JRB's gut-wrenching orchestrations are what really pound it home for me. Everyone I've talked to about The Last Five Years has said they hate Jamie for what he does to Cathy. I always thought this song was a startlingly eloquent defense for his actions, and I couldn't help feeling for both of them.
Featuring the Broadway classics “To Life (L’Chaim!),” “If I Were A Rich Man,” “Sunrise Sunset,” “Matchmaker, Matchmaker,” and “Tradition,” Fiddler on the Roof will introduce a new generation to this uplifting celebration that raises its cup to joy! To love! To life!
