Chauncy McButterbeans: Leigh Ann Larkin was such an earthy and well-sung Petra in A Little Night Music and I think she'd bring a similar sincerity and directness to Eponine.
Leigh Ann Larkin, who was last seen on Broadway in A Little Night Music, also starred in the 2008 revival of Gypsy alongside Tony Award winner Patti LuPone. The actress was most recently seen in concert with the popular music group The Skivvies, but we'd love for her to move from the concert stage back to The Great White Way.
Holed up in a seedy motel on the edge of the Mojave Desert, two former lovers unpack the deep secrets and dark desires of their tangled relationship, passionately tearing each other apart. Led by director Daniel Aukin (Back Back Back at MTC, 4,000 Miles), Tony winner Nina Arianda (Venus in Fur at MTC, Born Yesterday) and Sam Rockwell (A Behanding in Spokane, The Way Way Back) bring an explosive intensity to Sam Shepard’s (Buried Child, True West) landmark myth of the new Wild West.
