Laurie Veldheer, who made her Broadway debut in the Tony-nominated Best Musical Newsies, currently stars as Sophie Sheridan in Broadway's Mamma Mia! and was recently seen as Millie in the Paper Mill Playhouse production of Thoroughly Modern Millie. With her stage career on the rise, Veldheer would seem an ideal choice for Eponine.
