Taboo's Morton to Return to Birdland in November

Euan Morton, who recently starred in the title role of the Bay Street Theatre's production of The Who's Tommy, will go it solo at Birdland in November. Euan Morton received an Olivier Award nomination for his performance in the London company of Taboo. His other theatre credits include Measure for Pleasure, Brundibar, Caligula, We Will Rock You, The Silent Treatment, The Matchstalk Man, The Sexual Life of the Camel, Empty Plate in the Café du Grand Boeuf and Approaching Zanzibar as well as the Actors' Fund of America's Hair concert. Taboo marked Morton's Broadway debut. Morton's debut solo recording is titled "NewClear" and is available on the Lyric Partners label. Birdland is located in Manhattan at 315 West 44th Street.
