"Barbra" Duets with Korey, Panaro, Mason, Gravitte, Hines and More on New CD

"Simply Barbra: The Duets Album" is the title of Streisand impersonator Steven Brinberg's latest recording, which will hit stores this spring.

The 11-track CD is scheduled to arrive in stores April 11 on the LML label. Brinberg — in vocal guise as Streisand — duets with a host of theatre favorites, including Alix Korey, Hugh Panaro, Heather Mac Rae, Karen Mason, Debbie Gravitte and Claiborne Cary.

It's a busy time for Brinberg, who will sing four songs from Funny Girl as well as one tune from Hallelujah, Baby! at the Feb. 14 all-Jule-Styne program with the Carolina Pops in Greenboro, NC. Steven Brinberg has performed his Streisand impersonation on stages in Atlantic City, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, Houston and the U.K. He recently completed a sold-out tour of the U.K. and the West End, following record-breaking runs at London's Playhouse and Jermyn Street theatres.
