Wicked's Shoshana Bean Will Go it Solo at Joe's Pub

Broadway's Shoshana Bean is set to make her solo Joe's Pub debut on July 30.

Bean is well known to the Broadway community for bringing her soulful voice to the role of Elphaba in Wicked, both on Broadway and in the musical's national tour. Her credits also include the Broadway production of Hairspray, the Off-Broadway revival of Godspell and The Actors' Fund Benefit concert of Hair.

No stranger to the R&B music scene, Bean has previously opened for Kanye West at The Hammerstein Ballroom and performed for Michael Jackson's 30th Anniversary Concert at Madison Square Garden. She also recently performed a show-stopping rendition of "Ain't No Way" for television audiences alongside Brian McKnight, honoring Aretha Franklin at the "Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards."

The July 30 concert at Joe's Pub features Bean introducing brand-new material from her forthcoming solo recording. Show time is 7:30 PM.
