2007 Tony nominee for Best Actress in a Musical, Laura Bell Bundy, celebrated the release of her CD, "Longing for a Place Already Gone," with a concert at Birdland July 23.

Originally from Kentucky, the Legally Blonde star returns to her country roots with her debut solo album. Bundy describes the album as "a journey with a sense of humor, fun, point of view and heartache. A song for every mood."

Bundy will return to Birdland July 30 for an encore engagement.
