Psychological Drama Stock Home to Play NY Fringe Festival
By Adam Hetrick
The New York International Fringe Festival will host Alex Goldberg's psychological drama Stock Home beginning Aug. 14. Stock Home takes its name from the hostage syndrome coined by psychiatrist Nils Bejerot, in which hostages become sympathetically attached to their captors. Seth Soloway directs Mather Zickel ("The Bronx is Burning"), Lauren Cook (web series "Floaters") and newcomer Megan Tusing for the Fringe production. The design team includes set design by Martin Andrew, costume design by David Moyers and lighting design by Mike Durst. I'm In Love With Your Wife, also by playwright Alex Goldberg, is currently playing to sold out houses in this year's Midtown International Theater Festival. Stock Home runs Aug. 10–25 at The New School for Drama, located at 151 Bank Street in Manhattan. For tickets visit www.FringeNYC.org or call (212) 279-4488. |
