Rita Hayworth Celebrated in The Heat Is On! Feb. 13

Carter Inskeep – the author who brought the life of country singer Patsy Cline to the stage in Always, Patsy Cline – will direct his Rita Hayworth solo show, The Heat Is On! in New York City Feb. 13. Quinn Lemley stars as Hayworth in The Heat Is On!, performing the legend's hits including "Bewitched", "Steppin' Out", "Put the Blame on Mame", "Zip" "Long Ago and Far Away," "I'm Old Fashioned" and "The Lady is a Tramp," backed by an 11-piece band. Tedd Firth has created the musical arrangements, with orchestrations by Bob McDowell. Michael Louis designed costumes and created choreography for the production. Following sold-out international engagements, The Heat Is On! plays BB King Blues Club Feb. 13 at 8 PM. Tickets are available by calling (212) 997-4144 or by visiting www.bbkingblues.com.
