Xanadu's Butler and Jackson to Sign Cast Recording April 3

Xanadu's Cheyenne Jackson and Kerry Butler will make an in-store appearance at the Grand Central InMotion store on April 3.

Butler and Jackson will sign copies of the PS Classics original Broadway cast recording of Xanadu from 4:30-6 PM at the InMotion store in Grand Central terminal. The Xanadu in-store appearance marks InMotion's first Broadway partner event.

The Xanadu recording boasts a 24-page full-color booklet with an essay and synopsis penned by the show's librettist, Beane.

Xanadu, the new musical based on the 1980 Universal Pictures film of the same name, officially opened at the Helen Hayes Theatre July 10. The production utilizes songs from John Farrar and Jeff Lynne's film sound track. According to press notes, Xanadu "tells the story of one of the nine muses of ancient Greece who comes to earth to inspire the greatest of artistic achievements – a roller disco. Along the way she falls in love, bumps into an old acquaintance and for the first time, feels the desire to create herself."
