Pascal, Murney, Creek, Kennedy and More Sing on New Schonfeld CD, "37 Notebooks"
By Andrew Gans
A host of theatre favorites will be heard on the new recording from singer-songwriter Jeremy Schonfeld, "37 Notebooks." "37 Notebooks" was recorded at New York's Eastside Sound and John Kilgore Sound. As a special bonus, the album will be bundled with a digital download card EP of five exclusive songs. A CD release party is scheduled for May 5 at Birdland.
The complete track listing for "37 Notebooks" follows: Jeremy Schonfeld is known for blending tuneful pop, hard-edged rock, gospel, soul and blues. He's been compared to Billy Joel and Jonathan Larson. Schonfeld is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music and BMI-Lehman Engel Musical Theater Workshop. The album for his musical Drift (with Craig Pospisil) was released by Sh-K-Boom Records. That show was seen at the 2006 New York Musical Theatre Festival. A portion of the proceeds from the new recording will benefit the Broadway Dreams Foundation; visit www.mybroadwaydreams.com for more information. |
