Godspell Grammy Winner Cutler Releases "Test of Time" Album

Grammy Award-winning musician Jesse Cutler – an original band member and arranger of the original production of Godspell – has released a career retrospective recording entitled "Test of Time." Cutler performed with Godspell for its entire Off-Broadway run and made the transfer to Broadway with the musical. In 1971 he earned a Grammy for his work on the 1971 original Broadway cast recording of Godspell. He would also lend his talents on bass and guitar to the 1973 Godspell movie soundtrack. "Test of Time" – released in June – includes studio sessions spanning 30 years of Cutler's professional music career. Featured on three of the tracks is Paul Shaffer of the "Late Show with David Letterman." Song titles include "The Man Nobody Knows," "Rockula," "Automatic Man," "Hear Here," "Father and Son," "Middle of the Mountain," "Sympathy," "Love Is Not the Answer," "Back to Kansas," "Richman's Song," "World Keeps On Turning," "I Can't Breathe," "Moonlight," "Once I Had," "Inside Yourself," "People," "California Nights," "Live On," Wish It Was All A Dream," "Love Games," "Innocent Love" and "Smile."
