PHOTO CALL: Shepard's Kicking a Dead Horse, with Rea, Opens Off-Broadway

The U.S. premiere of Sam Shepard's Kicking a Dead Horse, starring Stephen Rea, opened at Off-Broadway's Public Theater (in the Martinson Hall) July 14. Rea stars as Hobart in the new play "about the West, a Manhattan art dealer and a dead horse," according to show notes. Elissa Piszel is also featured in the non-speaking role of Young Woman. Actor Rea has been seen on film in "The Crying Game," "V for Vendetta" and "Breakfast on Pluto." The actor also earned a Tony Award nomination for Someone Who'll Watch Over Me.
