PHOTO CALL: Irish Rep Goes Around the World in 80 Days

Jules Verne's Around the World in 80 Days — featuring a stage adaptation by Mark Brown — opened at Off-Broadway's Irish Repertory Theatre July 20.

The production, presented in association with Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, features a cast of five who play 39 characters. Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park artistic director Michael Evan Haney stages the work.

The "high-spirited, fast-moving and highly imaginative show," as show notes describe, features Daniel Freedom Stewart, Evan Zes, John Keating, Lauren Elise McCord, Jay Russell and Mark Parenti.

The cast and friends of Irish Repertory Theatre celebrated opening night at Porter's in New York City. Here is a look at the evening:
