Bell, Blackwell, Bond, Champlin, Lavin, Pedi, Shindle and More Will Say Something Aug. 15

Say Something: A Spoken Word Salon, an evening featuring spoken word performances from a mix of writers and actors, will be presented Aug. 15 at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. The artists, according to press notes, will offer "new work as well as excerpts from some of their favorite texts." The Laurie Beechman Theatre is located within the West Bank Cafe at 407 West 42nd Street at Ninth Avenue. There is a $10 cover charge as well as a $15 food-beverage minimum.
