Roth to Join Altar Boyz Cast Oct. 15

Ravi Roth will join the cast of Off-Broadway's Altar Boyz Oct. 15 at New World Stages.

Roth will succeed Ryan Strand in the role of Abraham. Roth previously played this role in the Cincinnati Playhouse and St. Louis Rep productions of Altar Boyz.

Roth will join a cast that features Michael Kadin Craig, Neil Haskell, Travis Nesbitt and Mauricio Perez.

Ravi Roth's regional credits include john and jen, Rocky Horror, Bat Boy, Seussical, The Full Monty and the Boston premiere of Edges.

A 2005 Outer Critics Circle winner, Altar Boyz is directed by Stafford Arima with choreography by Christopher Gattelli. Music and lyrics are by Gary Adler and Michael Patrick Walker with book by Kevin Del Aguila, based on a concept by Marc Kessler and Ken Davenport.

Beginning Oct. 15 Altar Boyz will also begin offering Wednesday evening performances. The new schedule will be Monday and Wednesday through Friday at 8 PM, Saturday at 2 PM and 8 PM and Sunday at 3 PM and 7 PM.
