In the Heights' Merediz to Guest on "One Life to Live"

Olga Merediz, a 2008 Tony nominee for her performance as Abuela Claudia in the Tony-winning In the Heights, will guest star on an upcoming broadcast of the ABC daytime drama "One Life to Live."

Singer-actress Merediz will play Sister Mary Claire on the Nov. 26 broadcast of the long-running serial. "One Life to Live" airs in the New York City metropolitan area on WABC-TV, Channel 7 from 2-3 PM ET; check local listings.

In addition to In the Heights, Merediz's Broadway credits include Mamma Mia!, Reckless, Man of La Mancha, Les Misérables and The Human Comedy. She won a Drama Desk Award for her performance in the Off-Broadway staging of In the Heights and was also seen in The Taming of the Shrew and Thornhill. Merediz's screen credits include "Changing Lanes," "K-PAX," "Music of the Heart," "Evita," "Requiem for a Dream," "Center Stage," "Isn't She Great," "Apartment #5C," "City of Hope," "Angie," "Au Pair III," "Hope & Faith," "The Jury," "The Sopranos," "The George Lopez Show," "Law & Order," "L&O: SVU," "L&O: CI," "The Job," "100 Centre Street."
