Murney and Hicks Join Broadway Boys for Not So Silent Night Concert Dec. 1

Wicked's Julia Murney and Caroline, or Change's Marva Hicks are the special guests at the Dec. 1 concert presented by the Broadway Boys — the singing group created by Jesse Nager — at Birdland.

The 7 PM concert, entitled Not So Silent Night, features the "Boys" (Nager, Maurice Murphy, Daniel Torres, Josh Strickland, Michael James Scott and Danny Calvert) performing new arrangements and old favorites.

Cabaretgoers can also expect a performance by new Broadway Boys members Landon Beard (Altar Boyz), Morgan Karr (Spring Awakening) and Zak Resnick.

Schele Williams directs the evening with musical direction by Justin Paul. The singing group adds pop, jazz, gospel and funk elements to Broadway tunes.
