"Repo! The Genetic Opera" Will Be Seen Around the Country in January

"Repo! The Genetic Opera," featuring Paris Hilton, Paul Sorvino and Sarah Brightman, has announced several screening dates for January 2009.

Directed by "Saw II" director Darren Lynn Bousman, "Repo!" was penned by screenwriter-composers Darren Smith and Terrance Zdunich.

Based on the stage play, "Repo!" takes place in the not-so-distant future, where "an epidemic of organ failures devastates the planet. Out of the tragedy, a savior emerges: GENECO, a biotech company that offers organ transplants...for a price."

New tour dates for the film include Salt Lake City, UT (Jan. 13, 2009); Indianapolis, IN (Jan. 14, 2009); Foxboro, MA (Jan. 16, 2009); Ridgewood, NJ (Jan. 16, 2009); Greenbelt, MD (Jan. 17, 2009), Cincinnati, OH (Jan. 18, 2009), St. Louis, MO (Jan. 20, 2009), Denver, CO (Jan. 21, 2009); Jackson, MI (Jan. 22, 2009); Milwaukee, WI (Jan. 23, 2009) and Los Angeles, CA (Jan. 24, 2009).

"Repo!" cast members also include Anthony Head ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer"), Paul Sorvino ("Goodfellas,""Romeo + Juliet"), Alexa Vega (Hairspray), Paris Hilton and soprano Sarah Brightman (The Phantom of the Opera).
