The Ryan Scott Oliver Project, with O'Brien, Burrow, Downes, Presented Jan. 8

The Ryan Scott Oliver Project, an evening feature the work of 2008 Richard Rodgers Award-winning composer and lyricist Ryan Scott Oliver, will be presented Jan. 8 at the Ethical Society Building in Philadelphia, PA.

Developed and conceived by Billy Bustamante and composer-lyricist Oliver, the 8 PM performance features the talents of Michael O'Brien, Mat Burrow, Jeremiah Downes, Colleen Hazlett-O'Brien, Sarah Gliko and Alex Keiper. Billy Bustamante directs.

In a statement director Bustamante said, "Ryan Scott Oliver is, without a doubt, one of the most exciting and gifted new composers I have encountered in my career. He possesses a unique ability to create songs that explore the joys, pains and triumphs of our changing society while at the same time, un-earthing new glimpses and perspectives on the timeless human condition… I am very excited to be exploring his work with The Ryan Scott Oliver Project."

Christopher Ertelt is the evening's musical director.
