L.A.T.W.'s This Is Our Youth to Feature Ruffalo, Hamilton and Yager

Mark Ruffalo, Josh Hamilton and Missy Yager, who starred in the original Off-Broadway production of This Is Our Youth, will reprise their work for West Coast audiences next month when L.A. Theatre Works presents the Kenneth Lonergan play. L.A. Theatre Works producing artistic director Susan Loewenberg said in a statement, "When I saw the play in New York a decade ago, I instantly recognized that both the playwright and the actors were destined to make their mark." "In 1982," This Is Our Youth press notes state, "on Manhattan's Upper West Side, three pot-smoking teenagers caught up in the excesses of the 'Me Generation' nevertheless resoundingly reject the 1960s ideals of their affluent parents. In hilarious and bittersweet detail, This is Our Youth follows 48 turbulent hours in the lives of three very lost souls at the dawn of the Reagan Era, presenting an acerbic look at that generation in its ironic struggle both to resist and to attain adulthood." Show times are March 18 at 8 PM, March 19 at 8 PM, March 20 at 8 PM, March 21 at 2:30 PM and March 22 at 4 PM.
