Various NY Metropolitan-Area Venues to Host Screening of National Theatre's Phèdre

A host of venues in the New York metropolitan area will offer screenings of the National Theatre's current production of Phèdre, which stars Academy Award winner Helen Mirren. In the New York City area, screenings can be seen at Film Society of Lincoln Center, Brooklyn Academy of Music, the Director's Guild Theatre, Cinema Arts Centre, Fairfield University (Connecticut), Monmouth University (New Jersey) and the Shakespeare Theatre Company (Washington, DC). The cast of the Jean Racine play — in a version by Ted Hughes — features Mirren and Dominic Cooper; Nicholas Hytner directed.
Broadcast details follow: The broadcast will also be shown on screens across the United States, including the Mann Theatre in Hollywood, the Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago and the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis.
