Birdie Star Stamos, Rock & Roll Jamboree Added to "Broadway in Bryant Park"

Upcoming Bye Bye Birdie star John Stamos and The Joe Iconis Rock and Roll Jamboree will join the lineup of Broadway and musicals in this summer's "Broadway in Bryant Park" series. Stamos will close out the series on Aug. 13 as a special guest. The Joe Iconis Rock and Roll Jamboree, previously seen at the Laurie Beechman Theatre, has been added to the opening on July 9. Here is the full lineup (subject to change): July 9: The Phantom of the Opera, Stomp, Avenue Q, In the Heights, The Joe Iconis Rock and Roll Jamboree July 16: The Little Mermaid, 9 to 5, Pure Country, The Toxic Avenger July 23: Mary Poppins, Rock of Ages, Vanities, Next to Normal July 30: Chicago, Naked Boys Singing!, Jersey Boys, Shrek Aug. 6: Wicked, Burn the Floor, The Lion King, The Marvelous Wonderettes Aug. 13: Billy Elliot, South Pacific, Mamma Mia!, Altar Boyz Bryant Park is located just behind the New York Public Library on Sixth Avenue between 40th and 42nd Streets.
