Mermaid Star Drew Seeley Records Menken-Slater Pop Ballad

Drew Seeley, who is playing a limited engagement as Prince Eric in Broadway's The Little Mermaid through Aug. 30, has recorded a tune from that Disney musical.

Seeley, who played pop star Joey Parker in the romantic musical comedy "Another Cinderella Story," recorded the pop ballad "Her Voice," which was penned by Mermaid's Alan Menken and Glenn Slater.

The new recording was produced by Brian Malouf (vice president of A&R, Walt Disney Records) and is available as a free digital download by visiting www.TheLittleMermaid.com/Drew. On June 27 Seeley's recording will make its broadcast premiere on Radio Disney at 10 AM ET during "The Top 30" countdown (encore broadcast is scheduled for June 28 at 2 PM ET).

Production is nearly complete on a music video of the song, which will be released in the coming weeks.

The Little Mermaid plays the Lunt-Fontanne Theater, 205 West 46th Street.
