Bogart, Colella, Karl, Powers, Thoms and Orfeh Take Part in Reading of Hall and Oates Musical June 26

A by-invitation-only reading of a new, untitled musical by pop music duo Daryl Hall and John Oates will be presented in Manhattan June 26.

The new musical features songs from the pop catalogue of Hall and Oates and a book by Bob Garrett and Christian Taylor. Leigh Silverman is directing the reading with musical direction and arrangements by David Holcenberg.

The cast features Jenni Barber, Matt Bogart, Jenn Colella, Chester Gregory II, Matthew Hydzik, Jeremy Jordan, David Josefsberg, Andy Karl, Kevin Kern, Jenny Powers, J. Robert Spencer, Tracie Thoms, Sally Wilfert and Orfeh.

The actors will be backed by Rob Preuss on keyboards, T-Bone Wolk on guitar, Zev Katz on bass and Ray Marchica on percussion.
