Toro, Schaffel, Murphy, Burkhardt and More Set for Cabaret Cares Benefit

Cabaret Cares, the monthly benefit series that raises funds for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and Help Is On The Way Today, will continue Aug. 17 at the Laurie Beechman Theatre.

The 9:30 PM concert, entitled A Fun Evening with Natalie Toro and Friends will boast the talents of Toro as well as Marla Schaffel, Karen Murphy, Rita Harvey, Carter Calvert, Doreen Montalvo, Kimilee Bryant, Brandi Burkhardt, Kevin Bernard, Merwin Foard, Eric Michael Gillett, Danny Zoli, Michael Vacarro, Kevin Early and Robert Montano.

Natalie Toro has been seen on Broadway in A Tale of Two Cities, Les Misérables and A Christmas Carol and Off-Broadway in Zombie Prom. Her touring credits include Evita (Jeff Award nomination), Cats and Jesus Christ Superstar with regional appearances in The Fix, Everything's Ducky, Francis of Guernica, Blood Brothers and Zorba.
