Kitt, Yorkey, Goldfarb and "Little Shop" Sing-Along Announced for 92YTribeca
By Adam Hetrick
92YTribeca has announced upcoming theatre-related fall programming, including an evening with the creators of Next to Normal and playwrights Daniel Goldfarb and Annie Baker.
92YTribeca will also screen a sing-along version of the 1986 screen adaptation of the Alan Menken-Howard Ashman musical Little Shop of Horrors on Oct. 24 at 11 PM. The Frank Oz film captures original Off-Broadway cast member Ellen Greene with Rick Moranis, Steve Martin and more. Raven Snook will host the game and beer-filled evening that encourages Little Shop-inspired costumes. As previously reported, Tony winners Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey will discuss the creation of the Broadway musical Next to Normal Oct. 28 at 7 PM. The evening will also feature cast members performing a new song penned by the songwriters, inspired from fan input on the official Next to Normal Twitter page. For tickets and further information visit 92YTribeca. The 92YTribeca is located at 200 Hudson Street in Manhattan. |
