Hartford Theaterworks has revised its 2009-2010 season.

Theaterworks has replaced David Mamet's Speed-the-Plow with David Rambo's crowd-pleaser The Lady With All the Answers, which will run Jan. 22-March 7, 2010. (Theaterworks recently offered Mamet's American Buffalo, which played an extended run in Hartford).

Stephen Temperley's Souvenir, the tale of a warbling soprano who became the toast of New York, will run April 16-May 23, 2010. Following will be the previously announced production of Neil LaBute's short-lived Broadway play Reasons to Be Pretty, which has been moved to the June 18-August 1, 2010, slot.

The final production of the season will be Nathan Louis Jackson's Broke-ology, running Sept. 10-Oct. 17, 2010. The work replaces Ida Mae Holland's From the Mississippi Delta. Also dropped from the season is Conor McPherson's Port Authority.

Theaterworks is currently presenting Shakespeare's R&J, which runs through Dec. 20. For more information visit the TheaterWorks website at theaterworkshartford.org.
