Broadway Unplugged, an Evening of Songs Without Microphones, Plays Town Hall

The sixth annual Broadway Unplugged, featuring Emily Skinner, Marc Kudisch, Daniel Reichard and Jill Paice — all singing with "a sound design by God," according to presenters — gets heard at Town Hall Nov. 16.

Scott Siegel hosts the evening that features Broadway favorites performing show tunes without amplification. Ross Patterson serves as musical director for the 8 PM concert that is directed by Scott Coulter.

In addition to Skinner, Kudisch, Reichard and Paice, the concert features Manu Narayan, Jeffry Denman, William Michals, Lisa Howard, Bill Daugherty, Sarah Jane McMahon, John Easterlin, David Colbert, Tony Yazbeck and Janet Metz.

Songs presented include "Tell Me on a Sunday" (Song and Dance), "Not a Day Goes By" (Merrily We Roll Along), "Distant Melody" (Peter Pan), "My Heart is so Full of You" (The Most Happy Fella), "Dein Ist Mein Ganzes Herz" (Yours In My Heart), "Come to Me, Bend to Me" (Brigadoon), "Let Things Be Like They Always Was" (Street Scene), "Brother, Can You Spare a Dime" (Americana) and "What I Did For Love" (A Chorus Line).
