Rivera, Perez, Plimpton, Seldes, Block and Ashmanskas Will Be Part of Transport Group Gala

A gala to benefit Off-Broadway's Transport Group Theatre Company will be presented Dec. 7 at the Asia Society and Museum.

The 7:30 PM evening will include cocktails, hors d'oevres, a silent auction and a performance featuring Broadway performers "telling the stories and singing the songs that made them famous."

[title of show] co-creators and co-stars Hunter Bell and Jeff Bowen will co-host the evening, which will honor Tony Award winners Terrence McNally and Joe Mantello. Expect performances by Chita Rivera, Rosie Perez, Martha Plimpton, Marian Seldes, Stephanie J. Block and Brooks Ashmanskas.
