Architect Turns Playwright in New Film "Multiple Sarcasms," With Channing, Hutton and Robins
By Ernio Hernandez
Broadway veterans Stockard Channing, Timothy Hutton and Laila Robins appear in the forthcoming film "Multiple Sarcasms." "Multiple Sarcasms," as a synopsis describes, "follows Gabriel Richmond (Hutton) as he takes an unconventional path to shedding his life of convention by writing a play. The play is based on himself and his relationships with the women in his life – his patient wife (Dana Delany), precocious daughter (India Ennenga), best friend and partner-in-sarcasm Cari (Mira Sorvino), and even the agent (Channing) who befriends him." Hutton (Prelude to a Kiss) stars along with fellow stage stars Channing (Pal Joey) and Robins (Frozen). Also appearing in the work will be Mario Van Peebles, Julia K. Murney and more. "Multiple Sarcasms" is expected to open in theatres in March 2010. To view a trailer and for more information, visit newfilmsint.com. |
