Tony-Winning Red Creative Team to Paint Madame Butterfly in Houston

Tony Award-winning Red collaborators Michael Grandage, Neil Austin and Christopher Oram will reunite in Houston this fall for Puccini's Madame Butterfly.
The season will also feature Dead Man Walking, the opera penned by Jake Heggie and Tony Award-winning playwright Terrence McNally. McNally's Master Class director, Leonard Foglia, will helm the opera that runs Jan. 22-Feb. 6, 2011. Also on board are Master Class scenic designer Michael McGarty, Tony Award-winning Love! Valour! Compassion! costume designer Jess Goldstein, Tony-nominated lighting designer Brian Nason and projection designer Elaine McCarthy.
Following Dead Man Walking, Tony Award-winning Sweeney Todd director John Doyle is slated to direct Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor Jan. 28-Feb. 11, 2011.
