Hairspray Tony winner Marissa Jaret Winokur will be among the celebrity moms hosting a new daytime talk show for CBS, according to Mediaweek.

The program will replace the daytime drama "As the World Turns," which debuted on CBS in 1956.

The five other hosts for the currently unnamed chat show include Julie Chen ("Big Brother"), Holly Robinson Peete ("Celebrity Apprentice"), Sharon Osbourne ("America's Got Talent"), Leah Remini ("King of Queens") and Sara Gilbert ("Roseanne"). The latter also developed the hour-long program and will be its executive producer.

The six women, according to Mediaweek, "will focus on stories of parenting, everyday life and events in the headlines. Show segments will include guest interviews with entertainers and newsmakers, live remotes from the field and personal home footage."

"Daytime is an evolving daypart with more variety now among soap operas, game and talk shows," Barbara Bloom, senior vice president, Daytime, CBS Entertainment, told the industry paper. "We were looking for a new format that would speak to the core audience but also have the topical and entertainment value to go even broader. This panel is not a bashful bunch; they are outspoken on any issue you put on the table. It promises to be an hour of television with timely discussions, unfiltered opinions and a lot of personality."

The program is aiming for an October debut.
