Trick-or-Treat on Broadway! Participating Shows Announced
By Thomas Peter
Ever wonder what it might be like to trick-or-treat at a theatre? Now, you can find out for yourself as part of this Halloween's Kids Night on Broadway festivities.
The Broadway and Off-Broadway shows that will participate in the trick-or-treating have been announced. All trick-or-treating will take place 15-20 minutes after each show's Oct. 31 matinee, and in most cases will occur at the stage door. Kids only, please; all children must be accompanied by an adult and must have their ticket stub or Playbill available to show as proof that they attended the show.
The shows that will participate, along with times and locations, follow:
The Lion King
Next to Normal
Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles on Broadway
Billy Elliot the Musical
The special Kids' Night on Broadway (KNOB) Halloween edition will allow kids to show a show for free when accompanied by a paying adult, as well as participate in a pre-show fan festival at Madame Tussauds New York from 11 AM-2 PM, along with other activities and souveneirs.
Kids' Night on Broadway, which occurs on several dates in theatres across the country throughout the year, is presented by The New York Times and officially sponsored by Madame Tussauds New York. This Halloween edition is supported by Playbill.
