Tony Award winners Jane Krakowski and Jim Dale will celebrate the holidays with Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops in special concerts throughout December.

Barnum Tony winner Dale will help launch the festivities Dec. 8 and 9, with a special reading of "The Night Before Christmas" accompanied by the Boston Pops. The performance will be recorded and will accompany a deluxe publication of Jan Brett’s picture book of the holiday classic.

Krakowski (Nine, Grand Hotel, "30 Rock") will join the Pops on Dec. 15 to headline the fundraiser "A Company Christmas at Pops." The event will also include "American Idol" finalist Melinda Doolittle.

Other concerts will feature such classic programming as “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing"; the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s “Messiah,” featuring members of the Tanglewood Festival Chorus; "I’ll Be Home for Christmas"; “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer"; “Sleigh Ride"; and holiday sing-a-longs.

In addition, Lockhart, the Pops and the Tanglewood Festival Chorus will invite members of the public to help them break the Guinness World Record for the largest group of carolers Dec. 4 at 12:30 PM on Boylston Plaza at the Prudential Center.
