Adam Pascal, Amanda Seyfried, Billie Joe Armstrong, Sarah Hyland, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Sarah Silverman were among those in attendance to celebrate the Nov. 28 Los Angeles opening night of Next to Normal.
The national tour of Next to Normal, the Tony Award-winning and Pulitzer Prize-honored rock musical about an American family in crisis, plays the venue through Jan. 2, 2011. Tony Award-winning actress Alice Ripley stars.
Tony-winning director Michael Greif repeats his staging for the tour, which also features Asa Somers (Grey Gardens, Taboo) as Dan, Emma Hunton (Spring Awakening) as Natalie, Curt Hansen (Hairspray) as Gabe, Preston K. Sadleir (Me, Myself & I) as Henry and Jeremy Kushnier (Footloose, Rent) as Dr. Madden/Dr. Fine. Somers, Hunton and Hansen also appeared in the Broadway run of Next to Normal.
