Casa Maņana to Stage Ring of Fire and Rent in 2012

The Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning rock musical Rent and the short-lived Broadway revue based on the music of Johnny Cash, Ring of Fire, will be part of the 2011-2012 season at Casa Mañana in Fort Worth, TX.



The season will open with the stage adaptation of Harper Lee's classic To Kill A Mockingbird, presented in a co-production with the Dallas Theater Center, Sept. 24-Oct. 2. Joe Sears and Jaston Williams will then return with A Tuna Christmas, playing Nov. 12-20.

Jonathan Larson's Rent will run March 3-11, 2012; and Ring of Fire, with a score culled from the songs of Johnny Cash, will close the season June 2-10, 2012.

Casa Mañana's season for young people will include Oliver! (Oct. 14-30); Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (Nov. 26-Dec. 23); Charlotte's Web (Feb. 10-26, 2012); Disney's Alice in Wonderland Jr. (March 30-April 15, 2012) and Annie Jr. (May 4-20, 2012).
