Broadway in Bryant Park Free Concert Series Launches July 7

A host of Broadway and Off-Broadway shows take part in the annual free Thursday afternoon concert series, "106.7 Lite fm Presents Broadway in Bryant Park 2011," which kicks off July 7 at 12:30 PM on the Bryant Park Stage.

Sponsored by Bank of America and Clean Air NY and hosted by Lite fm's on-air personalities, the 11th annual presentation of lunch-hour performances will continue through Aug. 11.

Attendees can expect performances from the casts of Sister Act, Catch Me If You Can, Billy Elliot, Memphis, Hair, Jersey Boys, Rent, The Lion King, Avenue Q, Mamma Mia! and Priscilla Queen of the Desert, among others.

Performances are scheduled for 12:30 PM-1:30 PM on Thursdays, July 7, 14, 21 and 28 and Aug. 4 and 11. Bryant Park is located behind the New York Public Library on 6th Avenue between 40th and 42nd streets. Lawn seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

The July 7 performance features Stomp cast members Carlos Thomas, Jason Mills, Alan Asuncion, Marivaldo Dos Santos, Dustin Elsea, Joe Russomano, Stephanie Marshall, Fritzlyn Hector and Keith Middleton; Baby It’s You cast members Geno Henderson, Erica Ash, Kelli Barrett, Kyra DaCosta, Erica Dorfler, Jahi Kearse, Christina Sajous, Crystal Starr, Brandon Uranowitz and Little Aubrey; Sister Act cast members Rashidra Scott, Alena Watters, Lael Van Keuren, John Treacy Egan, Demond Green, Caesar Samayoa, Holly Davis, Christina DeCicco, Madeleine Doherty, Carrie A. Johnson, Kimberly Marable, Trisha Rapier, Lael Van Keuren and Roberta B. Wall; and Zarkana cast members Elijah Brown, Ghislain Ramage, Lysanne Richard, Kristina Besschetnaya, Julie Dionne, Dany Rabello, Evelyne Lamontagne and Masha Terentieva.

As a bonus, Bank of America will award a year's worth of free Broadway tickets to a lucky winner. To enter visit the Bank of America tent on the Bryant Park fountain terrace from 11 AM-2 PM on any of the six Broadway in Bryant Park dates, or visit any participating Bank of America banking center.
