Academy Award nominee Danny Aiello stars in the world premiere of Susan Charlotte's 9/11-set drama, The Shoemaker, which officially opened Off-Broadway July 14.
Aiello is joined on stage by Alma Cuervo (Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Titanic, The Heidi Chronicles) and Lucy DeVito (Love, Loss, and What I Wore; Lucy).
The Shoemaker, according to press notes, is a "compelling drama that focuses on a shoemaker, an Italian Jew, on a devastating day that has become a turning point in American history. As each hour passes he confronts yet another part of his past, present and an uncertain future."
