Casting Complete for New Rock Opera Winner Take All, Helmed By John Carrafa

Winner Take All, a new rock opera that is part of FringeNYC, will feature direction and choreography by Urinetown Tony nominee John Carrafa.
Billed as "A Devilish New Musical... ...Straight from Heaven," performances are scheduled for Aug. 12-28 at Off-Broadway's Bleecker Theatre.
Written by Claudia Brevis and Skip Brevis, the cast includes Anna Eilinsfeld as Catie, Kyle Lamar Mitchell as Chardonnay, Jacquelyn Graham as Sally, Kat Nejat as Beaujolais, Trent Armand Kendall as Narrator, Brian Charles Rooney as Devil, Zakiya Young as Scarlett, Darren Lorenzo as Ivory and Jared Zirilli as Ricky.
The new musical is described as a "non-stop rock/pop/R&B/gospel tale of heaven and hell, soulmates torn apart, hip hopping angels, the Devil, seducers, adventurers, a cosmic contest, and the LOVE that keeps it all together!"
Other members of the creative team include associate director/choreographer Jenn Rapp, musical director Skip Brevis, associate vocal director Stanley Hopkins, lighting designer Brett Maughan, scenic designer Neil Patel, sound designer Daniel Neumann, costume designer China Lee, production stage manager Ryan B. Gibbs and assistant stage manager Matthew Kurtis Lutz.
Performances are scheduled for Aug. 12 at 7:30 PM, Aug. 18 at 3:30 PM, Aug. 19 at 6:45 PM, Aug. 21 at 8:30 PM and Aug. 26 at 3:30 PM.
