Simply Barbra Will Celebrate Streisand's 70th Birthday in Concert Tour

Singer-actor Steven Brinberg, in his alter ego as Simply Barbra — Streisand, that is — will celebrate the Academy Award winner's upcoming 70th birthday with a series of concerts.

The upcoming concerts will feature songs and stories from Streisand's 50-year career.

Current tour dates follow:

March 2-3: Marshall MI; Great Escape Theatre Co.

March 25: Naperville, IL; Madden Theatre

March 30: Madison, WI; Overture Center

April 3-4: San Francisco, CA; The Rrazz Room

April 24: New York, NY; Birdland

Steven Brinberg has performed his Streisand impersonation on stages in Atlantic City, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, Houston and the U.K. He recently completed a sold-out tour of the U.K. and the West End, following record-breaking runs at London's Playhouse and Jermyn Street theatres. Brinberg is the winner of the MAC Award and the Bistro Award for his Simply Barbra performances. He also appeared in the workshops of Ken Page's musical Nightlife and can be heard on "Simply Barbra Duets."
