Sundance Gala, With Christine Ebersole, Robert Redford and Jeanine Tesori, Held March 12

Christine Ebersole re-creates her Tony Award-winning performance as Grey Gardens' Little Edie during the Sundance Institute's March 12 gala at the Bowery Hotel in Manhattan. Academy Award winner Robert Redford hosts.



Sundance Institute president and founder Redford emcees the special evening that begins with a performance of the New York Theatre Workshop production of An Iliad featuring Tony winner Denis O'Hare at 7 PM.

A dinner party and performances at the Bowery Hotel follows. Scheduled to appear are Ebersole and Tony-nominated Grey Gardens composer Scott Frankel, as well as Tony nominee Jeanine Tesori (Shrek; Caroline, or Change) and her Fun Home collaborator Georgi James. All are alumni of the Sundance Theatre Program.

Notable works developed at Sundance include The Light in the Piazza, Spring Awakening, I Am My Own Wife, Circle Mirror Transformation and The Good Negro.
