Judges have been announced for composer-lyricist Scott Alan and Youtube sensation Michael Buckley's "I'm a Star Contest," which is looking for a singer to record a brand-new song by theatre composer Alan for his upcoming "Live" CD.

The winner of the contest will also have the opportunity to perform the song, which will be written especially for him or her, at Alan's upcoming New York City concert (April 30 at Birdland).

The winner will be introduced by Youtube sensation Buckley. Deadline for submission is March 15. Playbill.com will announce the winner April 1.

Judging the submissions will be Jonathan Groff, Cheyenne Jackson, Tracie Thoms and Beth Behrs.

Scott Alan's newest recording, "What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up," is now available on CDbaby.com, Amazon.com and iTunes. "What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up" follows Alan's earlier studio recordings, "Dreaming Wide Awake" and "Keys." His new musical Home is aiming for Broadway in 2012.
